Gundam in Tokyo

Oggi sono stata in giro con un paio di francesi che mi han portato per mille treni e metropolitane per vedere GUNDAM, il simbolo della lotta dei giapponesi contro l'inquinamento, e per salire su un mega grattacielo di 44 o 45 (non ricordo) piani da cui ho visto tutta Tokyo. Sta città è un palazzo unico, estesa tanto in altezza quanto in larghezza!
//Today I've been around with a couple of French who took me by any kind of train and metro line to see Gundam, the symbol fo the Japanese fight against the pollution, and to go up the skyscraper of 44 or 45 levels (I dont remember) from where I could see all TOkyo. This city is buildings buildings buildings, and goes everywhere both vertically and horizontally!



Il giappone è proprio diverso dall'europa, diversissimo

Interno ed Esterno, Gruppo e Individuo sono diadi interesantissime da considerare quando si vuole riflettere sulle differenze tra culture.

Prendiamo ad esempio il FUMARE.

In Europa ormai quasi ovunque è proibito fumare NEI locali PUBBLICI mentre è possibile fumare IN case PRIVATE e per STRADA (PUBBLICO). In Giappone NON si può fumare per STRADA ma si può fumare nei locali PUBBLICI.
//In Europe almost everywhere it is prohibited to smoke in public places while you can smoke in private houses or in the streets. While in Japan you can't smoke in the streets but you can smoke in public places (I mean pub, restaurant...)

Se si vuole fumare per strada bisogna farlo in luoghi appositi.
//If you want to smoke in the streets you have to do it in special places.



I locali pubblici è come se fossero locali privati per gruppi "temporanei", ovvero un insieme di persone che diventano gruppo finchè condividono lo stesso locale dove mangiare, bere e appunto fumare. Infatti i locali tradizionali hanno tutti delle tendine che non permettono di vedere all'interno, di "SPIARE" e quindi "INVADERE" la privacy del gruppo. Per poter vedere il locale devi diventare parte del gruppo, inchinarsi, passare sotto la tendina, entrare, sedersi e mangiare....
Per dire anche nei locali pubblici devi togleirti le scarpe, come prima di entrare in casa propria.
Non vi dico che ridere quando devi andare al cesso! ti devi mettere delle babbucce speciali....

//public places are maybe considered as private for groups "on the go", i mean groups of people who are a "group" as they share the same place, the same aim (eating dinrking...). Indeed traditional local "pubs" have some curtains on the front that dont allow people from OUTSIDE to see INSIDE, to "spy" and therefore invade the privacy of the group. To see it you have to bow, go inside, seat and eat...thus becoming part of the group. I mean in many places you even have to take off your shoes, like when you go to private houses....and when you go to the toilet you have to wear special shoes hahah!



E poi sto Gundam. Proprio non capisco. Gundam dovrebbe essere il simbolo della lotta contro l'inquinamento bla bla che porterà il genere umano alla rovina. Ma io mi chiedo: quanto inquinamento la produzione e lo smantellamento di Gundam produrranno?
