Botanical Gardens in Kyoto and the Garden of Fine Art by Tadao Ando

Today I went with Amy to the botanic gardens in Kyoto and to the Garden of Fine art. The botanic Gardens are so beautiful in the sunlight and smell of roses and flowers. Some trees are so big and the maple ones are getting yellowish and even more beautiful. Their leaves look like their about to fly. So light and gentle. Playing with light and shadows on people's faces.

Profumano di rose e gli alberi creano giochi di ombre e luce sui volti delle persone. Alcuni sono grandissimi e gli aceri piano piano si stanno colorando di un giallo carichissimo. Le foglie sono così leggere, sembra che stiano per volare.






The Garden of Fine art is a very interesting building beside the Botanic Gardens. Tadao Ando designed it: a structure made of light, shadows and the sound of water falling and flowing. It's interesting how it creates a kind of new and interesting frame for old and famous paintings: The last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci, the LAst Judgment by Michelangelo, and other works by Monet, Renoir, Seurat...

Very worth to visit.

//Il Garden of Fine Arts è una costruzione interessantisima firmata Tadao Ando. E' una struttura fatta di luci, ombre e del suono dell'acqua che cade giù in più cascate per poi scorrere lenta e incorniciare gigantografie di opere famose quali L'ultima Cena di Leonardo daVinci o Il Giudizio Universale di Michelangelo e altre opere tra cui Renoir, Monet e Van Gogh.
